DESCRIPTION:Shores Yoga and Moe’s Merry Mutts are hosting a Doggie Halloween Costume Contest during the downtown St. Clair Shores Skelebration event. Must pre-register your dog to enter the contest. Contest is limited to 25 dogs. Fill out the form below to enter. \nItinerary: \n2:00 pm: Dogs check in at the Shores Yoga booth for pictures (all dogs are welcome to stop by and take a halloween pic\, even if they are not signed up in the contest). \n2:30 pm: Doggie Costume Contest: Each dog will be announced and walk across the stage\, the dog with the most applauds wins an award. \n3:00 pm: Parade around downtown SCS \nDoggie Costume Contest Sign Up\n\n\n  \n\n\n\n Your dogs name\n \n \n Your dogs costume\n \n \n Your dogs hobbies\n \n \n Your name\n \n \n Your email\n \n \n Your phone\n\n \nI agree that my dog is a dog friendly dog\, that is friendly around other dogs and children.\n \n\n \n\n\n\n  \n\nMost businesses will be joining in the trick or treating fun! Contest starts at 2:30pm.\n\n\nGreater Chiropractic and Breathe: Bodywork and Beautification will have spooky activities going on inside all afternoon\, 2-5pm.\n\n\nMary Ellen Studio of Dance performs at 3pm.\n\n\nCasali School of Dance performs at 3:30pm.\n\n\nThere will be face painting at Anchored On The Shores. There is a fee for this.\n\n\nFirehouse Pub and Grill will have a craft station and food/drink specials inside.\n\n\nAbout 4pm we’ll parade down to the Roy O’Brien Ford\, Inc.\, Inc. pumpkin patch for the second magic show. After the show\, kids (age 12 and under) can select a pumpkin to take home.\n\n\nSchedule subject to change.\n\n\nThe last Social District of the year starts at 5pm so stay for an evening of food trucks\, live music\, shopping\, corn hole and more.

DESCRIPTION:This event is a Halloween themed yoga workshop with craft\, story and yoga. Halloween costumes encouraged. \nOct 28th\, 12:30 – 2:00\, Grades 1-5 \nDetails: \n\nWear comfortable clothing and slip on shoes.\nThis is a drop off event\n\nItinerary: \n\n45 min for craft\, song and story\n1/2 hour for yoga and breathwork.\n15 minutes for transition and clean up. (The kids will also learn how to clean and roll up their mats.)\n\nJody will be leading this workshop. Jody is a local resident of St. Clair Shores and a mom of 4 boys. She has a career in Elementary Education.Working in education\, Jody began to see the significant need for self-regulation in children. Yoga is an evidence-based tool to provide children with the skills to self-regulate. Jody has found there are 3 vital elements needed to teach yoga to kids: a teaching philosophy\, her own yoga practice\, and the understanding of child development. Jody has been teaching yoga in the Lake Shore School District and in the St. Clair Shores area for 3 years and is passionate about introducing the beauty of yoga to children and teens. \nSign Up Below: \n

DESCRIPTION:Join us in an all levels yoga class to help support I Heart Dogs Rescue and Animal Haven. I Heart Dog’s is located in Warren\, MI and their mission is to lead the no-kill movement by rescuing\, rehabilitating\, re-homing and providing a place of refuge for homeless dogs\, while also providing a haven for the pets belonging to domestic violence survivors. \nWe will be offering two sessions available to ages 8 and up: \nFirst Session 12:30-1:30 pm. \nSecond Session 2:00-3:00 pm. \nMajority of proceeds to benefit I Heart Dogs.
