Winter Stillness Retreat
A partial silent retreat for deep rest, yoga, and meditation.
Twin Lakes, Michigan
January is a season of stillness. Blanketed in snow and wrapped in the peaceful silence of winter, it is the perfect time to step away from the demands of everyday life and reconnect with yourself before the year unfolds.
Join us on the shores of Twin Lakes in Western Michigan for a deeply restorative retreat designed to help you slow down, reset, and turn inward. Surrounded by snow-covered grounds, frozen waters, and the warmth of cozy cabins, you’ll experience the beauty of winter as a gentle reminder that rest is not only necessary, but transformative.
During our time together, we will embrace one and a half days of intentional silence, creating space to quiet the mind and listen more deeply to ourselves. Without the constant distractions of conversation and technology, clarity begins to emerge, intuition becomes easier to hear, and the nervous system has the opportunity to fully exhale.
Each day includes gentle morning yoga to awaken the body and restorative evening yoga to invite deep relaxation. Meditation practices and immersive sound baths will help calm the mind, restore balance, and cultivate presence.
There will also be plenty of unstructured time to simply be. Curl up beside a natural wood-burning fireplace with a warm cup of tea, journal your intentions for the year ahead, take a peaceful walk through the snow, or simply rest as winter works its quiet magic.
This retreat is an opportunity to begin the new year differently. Rather than rushing into resolutions or striving for more, you’ll be invited to slow down, reconnect with your inner wisdom, and create space for what truly matters.
Leave feeling grounded, refreshed, and deeply connected to yourself, carrying a sense of calm and clarity into the year ahead.

Meet Your Guide
Lindsey Siehda
This retreat is led by Lindsey Siehda, owner of Shores Yoga, a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, energy healer, and psychic medium. Lindsey is passionate about creating spaces where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and experience the healing power of presence.
A silent retreat was one of the most transformative experiences of Lindsey’s life. Although it took time to settle into the silence, she experienced a profound sense of presence and inner peace unlike anything she had known before. Without phones, conversation, or daily distractions, she discovered the clarity and wisdom that emerge when we simply allow ourselves to be still.
It is this experience that inspired her to create this retreat. Lindsey hopes to share the gift of silence with others, offering a space to rest, reflect, and reconnect with yourself in a deeply meaningful way.
